Where It Often Starts

a smaller way to begin

Sometimes you don't need everything at once. Maybe you're not ready for a full marketing partnership, or a brand refresh and digital presence build feels like too big a leap right now. That's a completely reasonable place to be, and a focused project is a smart way to start. Pick one thing that needs attention, get a concrete deliverable you can actually use, and see how we work together. No long-term commitment required.

MARKETING STRATEGY CONSULT & RECOMMENDATIONS

You know your business. You're just not sure your marketing is keeping up with it. That's where this conversation comes in.

We start with an intake questionnaire to get the basics down, then meet for about 75 minutes — in person or over Zoom. We open by asking what you're trying to accomplish in the next three to six months, then walk through our customer relationship funnel together: what it actually takes to get clients, keep them coming back, and grow revenue from the ones you already have. From there we talk through what you've tried, what's worked, what hasn't, and brainstorm options that fit where you want to go. We record the session so nothing gets lost.

At the end, you walk away with the recording, a written summary of our conversation, and a prioritized list of recommendations. If you have the budget to invest and want to keep going, we'll put together a proposal that fits.

We've done this for a marine services company in North Idaho that had a new marketing director and wanted an outside perspective to sharpen their strategy. We've done it for a specialty tax firm that wanted to translate a long-term plan into week-by-week action. And we've done it for a local art studio that was ready to think bigger about how to grow demand and keep the customers they already had.

The lightbulb moment we love most: when a business owner realizes that marketing to their existing clients is often where the biggest return is. That shift in thinking tends to change everything.

Ready for that kind of clarity?

BRAND IDENTITY AUDIT & RECOMMENDATIONS

Your brand identity is doing a job every time someone looks at your website, sees your logo, or picks up one of your print materials. The question is whether it's doing that job well.

In this audit, we look at how your brand shows up across every touchpoint: logo versatility and format, font selection and hierarchy, color usage, and messaging. We look at how it all hangs together online and in print, and we flag what's working, what's inconsistent, and what's holding you back.

The deliverable is a slide deck with our full assessment and prioritized recommendations, written clearly enough that you can act on it whether you work with us next or not.

We've completed this for a marine services company whose logo wasn't versatile enough for the range of ways they needed to use it, and for a local art studio where a brand strategy review surfaced the need to make sure their visual identity still aligned with where the business was headed. In that case, when the recommendations were implemented through a website update, the improvement in readability and user experience was immediate and noticeable.

Wondering what we’d find on yours?

DIGITAL PRESENCE AUDIT & RECOMMENDATIONS

Most small businesses have a digital presence. Not all of them have one that's working.

In this audit, we look at your website, Google Business Profile, online listings, SEO and GEO fundamentals, and reviews. We note what you're doing well and where there's room to improve, and we go deep enough to be useful. For websites especially, we can't evaluate what needs to change without first understanding who you're trying to reach and what you want them to do. That context shapes everything from navigation to calls to action to homepage design.

You receive a detailed written report with our full findings and recommendations organized by area.

The situations we've walked into vary a lot. One client didn't have a Google Business Profile at all. Another had two listings for different locations with inconsistencies across both. All of them had websites with usability issues and SEO areas that hadn't been addressed. The audit gives you a clear picture of where you stand and a prioritized path forward.
