Some client relationships start with a single problem to solve and gradually become something much bigger. What began as a website rescue turned into a six-year marketing partnership with TRUCE Spa built on trust, consistency, and a shared commitment to building something worth growing.

TRUCE Spa is a serene, upscale day spa located inside the Westin Bellevue in the heart of downtown Bellevue, Washington. Founded by Carol Loya, TRUCE was created to give guests a genuine reprieve from the noise, the pace, and the pressure of everyday life. The full menu of massages, facials, body treatments, and nail services is designed not just to pamper, but to restore. Whether guests come in solo for a monthly ritual, with a partner for a couples massage, or with a group of friends for a spa party, the experience is intentional, expert, and calming.
Carol built something that goes beyond a typical day spa. TRUCE has a point of view: that healing starts from within, that slowing down is an act of self-respect, and that every guest deserves to leave feeling lighter than when they walked in. That clarity of purpose is what makes her business worth showing up for, and what makes the marketing work.
where they started
When Carol first reached out to Rinehart Marketing in early 2019, she wasn't starting from scratch: she was starting from scattered. Her marketing had been handled by different people across different areas, and nothing was quite working together. Her website needed maintenance, her business listings were inconsistent, and her reputation management hadn't been set up in any systematic way. She was ready for one reliable partner who could take all of it off her plate and actually move the needle.
The referral came through a trusted mutual connection, which set the tone from the start: this was going to be a relationship built on trust, not just transactions.
what we did together
We started by getting the fundamentals solid: auditing and updating her business listings, setting up a reputation management system, and taking a clear-eyed look at her social media presence. From there, we built a marketing strategy focused on two practical goals: growing overall revenue and improving weekday capacity utilization.
What that looked like in practice: consistent social media content across Instagram, Facebook, and Google Business; monthly email marketing with focused promotions and clear calls to action; ongoing website maintenance and updates; campaign planning around key seasonal moments; and SMS marketing to reach her most loyal clients.
One of our favorite projects was adding a monthly specials page to the website. It became the hub for all of her marketing. It was the page virtually every email, social post, and text pointed toward. Regular traffic to the site increased, and it gave us a fresh, compelling reason to show up in people's inboxes and feeds every single month.
More recently, we've expanded into local partnerships, moving beyond simple Instagram giveaways to coordinated joint promotions with aligned Bellevue businesses, including a meaningful collaboration with the Westin Bellevue itself. We've added a blog to extend her digital footprint and make sure TRUCE shows up in AI-powered search results. And we've navigated three different spa booking platforms together, adapting her email marketing approach each time without missing a beat.
what changed
Over six years, TRUCE has grown its revenue year over year (COVID aside), increased its Google review count with proactive, consistent outreach, and built a reliable marketing presence across every channel that matters for a local service business. Carol has a steady, trusted partner who knows her business, understands her goals, and manages her marketing budget like it's our own.
